Sofia Reyes
Garden Designer & Co-founder
She's been designing residential gardens in the Bay Area for years and still gets excited about a good native planting plan. Her obsession is finding the right plant for a tricky spot — the dry shade under an oak, the windy west-facing corner — instead of forcing something that won't make it.
Maren Kim
Head of Maintenance & Co-founder
She runs all the ongoing care work and builds every maintenance plan from scratch — no templates. She has a horticulture background and a strong opinion about soil health. She'll tell you what's wrong with your garden before you even ask.
Cass Nguyen
Lead Installer
She handles all our installs and brings an eye for the kind of detail that's invisible when it's done right. If something looks slightly off, she'll notice it. She's been with us since the beginning and we couldn't do this without her.

How we actually work
We stay small on purpose
We've turned down growth opportunities that would've meant sending strangers to our clients' homes. That's not something we're willing to do. Small means we know every garden we're responsible for.
Bay Area plants for Bay Area conditions
We don't import ideas from wetter climates. We work with California natives and drought-adapted plants that actually thrive here — through summer dry spells, coastal fog, and years-long droughts.
We'll be honest with you
If a plant won't work in your space, we'll tell you. If your soil needs work before anything else happens, we'll say so. We'd rather give you the truth than take your money for something that won't last.
